Can I get a quote without a home visit?
Often, yes. Send us photos of your current boiler, its pipework and the flue, and we can usually give you a free estimate. For bigger changes, such as moving the boiler or switching type, we'll arrange a site survey so the quote is accurate.
How long does a boiler installation take?
A like-for-like swap is usually finished in a single day. Changing boiler type or moving the boiler can take two days. We'll tell you before we start.
Which boiler brand should I choose?
We install all the major brands, including Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi, Viessmann, Main and Glow-worm. We'll recommend the model and output that suits your home and hot water use rather than pushing one brand.
What warranty comes with a new boiler?
Every new boiler comes with the manufacturer's warranty, which we register for you. The length depends on the brand and model, commonly between 5 and 10 years, and it's usually conditional on an annual service.
Do I need a system flush with a new boiler?
On an older system, usually yes. Sludge and debris in old radiators and pipework can damage a new boiler and affect its warranty, so we recommend a flush and a magnetic filter when fitting a new one.
