Know the rate before we arrive
Clear hourly rates based on when you need us. The first hour is our diagnostic visit, with no VAT currently added.

Emergency “make safe” policy
On an urgent callout, our first priority is to make the property safe. If a permanent repair cannot be completed on the initial visit, for example because parts are unavailable or it is unsafe to continue, we may isolate a supply, cap a leak or take other reasonable steps to remove the immediate risk.
The callout remains chargeable
The applicable emergency rate and initial diagnostic labour cover dispatch, attendance and the work required to make the immediate situation safe.
Safety comes first
A make-safe outcome may include isolating gas or water, capping a leak, or otherwise preventing further risk or damage.
Permanent work is separate
Once the immediate issue has been made safe, we will explain the next steps and quote separately for any permanent repair or replacement parts needed.
How billing works
The first hour is charged in full as our diagnostic fee, excluding materials and parts.
After the first hour, time is billed in 30-minute increments.
Time is charged from arrival until we leave, including collecting parts for your job.
We always aim to fix the problem on our first visit.
Parking & congestion charges
Parking and any congestion charge will be added to your invoice. Please arrange suitable parking for our engineer, a driveway or paid parking. If an engineer receives a parking ticket because parking was not arranged, an £80 charge will be added to cover it.

Accurate quote, at your property
All site visits, quotes and estimates are £75. If you go ahead with the work, we deduct this from the final invoice.
