There's no single answer here, because the cost depends heavily on what's actually involved, but there are a few clear factors that move the price up or down.
What affects the price
- Boiler type and output, a straightforward combi swap is usually the most affordable option.
- Whether it's a like-for-like swap or a change of boiler type (for example, moving from a system boiler to a combi).
- Whether the boiler needs to move location, which involves extra pipework and flue work.
- Property size and hot water demand, which determines what output (kW) you need.
- Any extras, a system flush, magnetic filter, smart thermostat, or new radiator valves.
See our full pricing page for our standard labour rates, and our boiler installation offer for a from-price on a straightforward combi swap. For anything more involved, a free estimate over WhatsApp with a few photos, or a £75 site survey for larger jobs, will get you an accurate number rather than a rough guess.
